Garlic, onion, and ginger juice are natural ingredients which increase blood flow to the scalp and can cause hair follicles to start growing again. Ginger tends to be the favorite due to its pleasing smell, but any of these three ingredients is effective. Obtain the juice either from a store or consider juicing your own for the best results. Apply the juice to your scalp and then cover with a shower cap and leave overnight. Rinse off in the morning and repeat periodically for the best results.

Antioxidants can also work to reverse scalp damage and encourage hair follicles to start growing again. Green tea is one of the most potent antioxidants available today and is a great and easy way to work towards healthier hair. Use fresh green tea bags and steep two bags in a cup of warm water. This will give you a concentrated source of antioxidants which will be much more effective. Then apply the tea to your hair, leaving on for about an hour. Rinse off and pat hair dry. This remedy is safe to use on a regular basis and will prevent hair loss as well as stimulate hair growth.

Consume essential fats

Finally, be sure to get essential fats. Healthy oils contribute to a healthier scalp and are essential for healthy hair growth. Make sure that you’re getting fats through olive oil, nuts, and fish. Flax and chia seeds are also one of the recommended ways of getting essential oils every day. You can cook with these oils, substitute them for other oils in your favorite recipes or in some cases, even take supplements. Flax and chia seeds are easy to add into recipes like smoothies and contribute to strong and healthy hair growth.
